Have y’all heard about the Super Twang Festival coming in May?  This is a question I have found myself asking someone at least once a day lately.  My friends have already heard about it enough and have vowed to attend, probably just to stop me from runnin’ my mouth about it. They’re very supportive.

Beginning May 13th and continuing through the 15^th, Speedwell, TN will be home to Super Twang, a full on country campout music festival.  Tents, sleeping bags, RV’s and campers are all welcome for this weekend.  There is a super hot line-up scheduled with over 20 bands, including many greats like Craig Morgan, Confederate Railroad, Kentucky Headhunters and Artimus Pyle of  Lynyrd Skynyrd fame, just to name a few.

This festival promises to be unlike any other.  The host marina, Flat Hollow, is offering several packages, some including everything from tickets and festival transportation to renting floating houses on beautiful Norris Lake for the festival weekend.  That reminds me, I need to check those out. There will also be many vendors offering great foods, unique arts and crafts, and various Super Twang merchandise.

Now I must admit, my sleeping bag goes no further than my mattress at home.  I don’t really get that intimate with the great outdoors and chancing no shower is too fearsome a prospect.  However, the prospect of a weekend music festival at beautiful Norris Lake, early spring, hot artists, that’s something this gal can get with.  No matter what your tastes, there is sure to be something to please everyone at this festival.
